BMW PHILOSOPHY
Under the design philosophy of Chris Bangle, BMW Chief Designer, BMW styling
is currently the most controversial among the prestige car segment. The
controversial flame surfacing and the bubble buttress versus the traditional
kidney nostrils and hofmeister kinked c pillar brings an interesting
integration into BMW's design. BMW's have always had an athletic looks about
them, and our newest design - the KonKourse wheel - is a twist on the traditional
mesh design that looks so right on BMW's. We offer this wheel in a
staggered application to show off the huge lip for the rear of the car.
Furthermore, BMW's need very little caliper clearance, giving the KonKourse an enormous lip (95mm in a 20x10.5)
designed specifically to compliment the BMW's lines. We made 20x9.0 for the front
and 20x10.5 for the rear of the new 3 series (E90) and for the 5 series (E60 and
E39) in 20 inch diameters.
As always the EXE cap is made of cast aluminum to compliment the wheels, and
the BMW centercap is interchangable with the EXE cap.
